Fastest and Furiouserest
At the risk of sounding like one of the elderly, I wish to dedicate this sketch to all the really stupid driving that I've witnessed over the years. If anyone slams into a concrete embankment due to someone cutting you off running a dangerous driving manuever, you can just thank these two chuckleheads :)

From Tom Bancroft
This was drawn on Saturday so, while not a sketch, I'm counting it. This was for my sister who wrote a play for her high school drama class (she teaches). It was about gossip and it uses a bunch of Disney characters, so the first thing I thought of was the Norman Rockwell "Sat. Evening Post" cover he did about gossip (ttp://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=105x6437440). Thanks Norman!

Tim's First Post
I have a great book called "Animal Faces" by Akira Satoh & Kyoko Toda. It's chock full of great animal expressions from several species. Naturally, the big apes are my favorites.
:) April 9th! Our Sketchapalooza has begun.
A Big Friendly Welcome to anyone who stops by!
Ah, yes, if it weren't for the Simpsons and Ren and Stimpy's influence on my life, these would have never been drawn.
I didn't want to be at my desk so I drew these sitting on the floor :) I need a new desk chair, me thinks.
No idea why I drew animals. I'm sure someday I'll change the "mascots" but for now, here they are.
I've got a busy day but I'll be back to check on this.
Saturday Sketch Day : Kev
I’ve returned from a road trip to Madison and Chicago, fresh off Sketchbook Month of March to learn of Saturday Sketch-Day, a new weekly endeavor to help keep an artist sharp. I kick off my weekly installments with a couple sketches of my nephew, Kevin which I did while on the road.

Choir Doodle from awhile ago
During choir, I doodle only when no one is looking over my shoulder. It's strange that it mostly turns out to be Star Wars related. Now, the caption was an addition by my fellow Soporano Julie Guardalabene, then I added the cupcake to make it work. Normally these are a solitary effort but, I love my friend, Julie and her addition was perfect for the hand motion. In fact, were I a Jedi, I would probably use it to make people give me stuff.
