Alright, one of my really good friends got married this weekend and I was helping out with the wedding and such. You understand time was scarce. I wanted to draw this picture as it was very apropos for the season. Girls screaming, looking seriously scared.
Why are they screaming?
They look seriously upset and terrified (kind of how I'd react if someone did something horrible and nightmarish in front of me.
I'm curious what your thoughts are.
Are they seeing someone get shot right before their eyes?
Is something on fire?
Did someone tell that that Sephora was giving away free lip gloss?
Maybe we'll never know.
I actually do know the answer but I think someone just might guess it.

Chandra Reyer
Since Grimlock, my husband thinks I should try drawing more mechanical things. An area I am very, very weak in. But then I think, "Oh, what about steampunk?" A steampunk Ninja Turtle mouser?

Old Biker Lady with Table
THis is a combination of being inspired/grossed out by some of the people who show up at the Antiques Road Show....I don't apologise :)

Dude from the park....
I went to a park and rode my bike in the windiest weather on Saturday morning. It was almost impossible to fight the wind. I passed this man jogging with his daughter and he looked almost exactly like the terminator robot. I tried to draw it :)
From Chandra!
"Working" at a comic convention actually provides me with the time to do silly little sketches for fun.
Excited and Happy
Pulled a couple of images from the numerous sketches I did yesterday. I would like to post the whole pgs. but sometimes there is just soooooo much messy and ruff stuff going on in them that I just pick certain ones to post. Might be cool just to post the page as a whole just to show what's going on in my mind. Good or bad drawings. Hope everyone is having a great weekend and thanks to everyone who stopped by and was nice to comment on my last week post.

Red
When I was sketching these for some weird reason I was thinking about Pipi Longstocking. Of course Pipi was never grumpy like the lil girl I drew so I had to be sure to sketch a Happy Pipi looking girl. It's always fun to try and sketch characters that were from years past and put your own spin on them. Next time I think I'll go crazy and see what I can come up with.

Greetings from Florida
Heading out on a short business trip to Florida. Making a few postcards to send back to my family once I get there. I would normally draw them on my trip, but I will be gone so briefly, I'll have to drop them in the mail the day I arrive if there is a chance of them getting back home before I do. (I'd mail them before I go, but I want them to have a Florida postmark.)

This shark was painted on the bottom of a Pizza Hut Wings to go box. I loved the white surface and orange border. Couldn't let it go to waste.

Sat. Sketches
Hi Everyone! Well I know I'm really really late to the Sat. Sketch Party. I mean extremely late. But scouts honor I will be sure to post my Sat. sketches from here on in. So much inspirational work that's been posted so far. So here's a few of my sketches while watching LOTR on Sat. Oh the 2 of the mustache guy is the bartender from the Prancing Pony. Not the best likeness but fun to try. Look forward to seeing everyone's future Sat. Posts.

It's been awhile since I submitted something thanks to severe tendonitis. However, October has arrived and so has Gozer the Traveler.

World's Worst Baby's Room Mural Concept.
I was inspired by watching "The Expendables" and then the, "World's worst idea for a Baby's room Mural" came to me.
It's ugly, it's heinous, I hardly want to look at it even though I drew it, for crying out loud. I thought of one of the funniest things the Simpson's has ever done; Bart's Clown bed that Homer decided to make for him. It all seemed to make so much sense. Now that I see it in all it's glory, I kind of want to paint this in an infant's room to see what the reaction would be. I'd imagine lots of crying.
You can say it, it's weird. It's probably one of the weirdest things I've ever done.
It's out of my system now....
