I can't seem to remember who this actor is although he's been in a lot of movies, most recently the Sherlock Holmes movie. Anyway, I did an unsuccessful sketch of this earlier, it failed. I was hoping to redraw it and "break the curse" of having a repeat failure.

Gotta Dance!
Some activity at the Trollords Facebook page today inspired this quick sketch of Dancin' Jerry...

Chandra - Purse Lady
Found out two things with this little trading card experiment. (Purselady is what a friend's son named her when declaring the superhero names of each family member.) 1. Copics and Prismacolors can be combined contrary to what I've read. 2. Copics make my ink lines smear. *headsmack*

Go Ahead, trust the bunny with your child.
Isn't it just the creepiest rabbit you've ever seen?
I may not want to know if it isn't. My nightmares are fueled enough with this one.
Another Sketch for friends
This was more for my friend, Nick, as I was talking to Ginger, his wife, about something that he would be able to hang at work. He likes Star Wars so I thought I'd use this classic joke and do a little marker rendering for the occasion. The marker rendering, surprisingly enough, did not go according to plan. I don't know if it's the markers or the paper but there was a surprising amount of smearing going on, which is not usually the case. Odd.

Paulette
Another in a long series of drawings of actress Paulette Goddard. I've not captured her yet. One day...
Gotta go back and watch more of her flicks, like Modern Times, Great Dictator, Second Chorus, Crystal Ball, etc. to absorb and catch more of her personality which doesn't usually come across in photos. Not in my drawings, anyway....
Morbidly Obese Bart
I drew this as a joke but to thank my friends who invited me over to dinner. I want to correct a lot of it, but it's a first for me, drawing a morbidly obese character so far off model, I think it'll be fine for now. My vertigo is preventing me from taking much time for anything so I needed to finish this in record time.
This is from "King Sized Homer" from season 7 from the Simpsons. My older brother used to repeat this line while laughing and I wanted to draw one for him, too, out of the blue. Of course, my sister in law will think I'm out of my mind......
Chandra!
My brother got me into playing a long distance, email Dungeons & Dragons game with him and a few others. I always wanted to draw my characters when I was in Junior High, but didn't have the skill back then.
Manda Macfarlane- Allie
Recently My 3 year old daughter has took it upon herself to tell me of EVERYTHING she sees... lol
the rest of the moments are on my blog the-animated-life.blogspot.com

Sermon notes
Before anyone wants to make any sassy comments about doodling during church - please take into consideration my feelings :) The one on the right is of our pastor while he was more on the serious side. It wasn't meaning to make him look terrible. It was just the only time he was still for a quick minute.
I love that phrase, quick minute. I picked up that bad habit from a roommate of mine.

Bill the Butcher
I had "Gangs of New York" running on Hulu while I was working today. Took a few minutes to draw this image of Daniel Day Lewis' frightening visage. Now back to work.
