Happy Thanksgiving!

Cranked this out this morning, racing to get it done before the mailman comes. And, yes, popcorn is historically a Thanksgiving food.

I did this one earlier this week I did this one. Just wanted to include it so I have a balance of non-Netflix images. It's done on paper made from elephant dung. I sent this as a thank-you to a friend who keeps me flush in Starbucks gift cards. She knows I like Chai Tea! I send her art, she sends me gift cards. It's a good barter system we have going on.
The paper is verrrrry porous, and doesn't take paint very well. It's like working on a thick paper towel. I still like it, though. Plus, the proceeds from buying it go to elephant conservation.

  1. Great expressions on both pieces, Tim.
I'd never use that green next to Tiger Orange, so have no idea how you've made it work so well!

  5. I tried to write you back with my phone but apparently I was in a bad service area. Oh man, what movie did you get? Maybe you don't want to say....I just returned Time Chasers (which I highly recommend to you!!!) It was filmed in the 90s, not a super horrible, hard to watch movie but....it was "savaged" nonetheless, as Michael Nelson said. :)

I LOVE this drawing that you did...the expressions are fantastic!

  6. It was "The Gunslinger". A Roger Corman classic, filmed in 7 days.
