Chandra!
When I was a kid, I didn't associate George Miller movies with cute talking animals. I originally meant this as something making fun of the movies, but now my daughter thinks I'm awesome because I have drawn Mumble and Babe...
Busy Week!
Even with a lot of deadlines this week, I found a little time to draw some for myself...
To be honest, the elephant drawings were done on Thursday, so they aren't truly a 'Saturday Sketch'. But I hope you like them anyway.

Technically a sketch, only painted :)
I was busy painting this weekend and produced this....I'm doing another one for our church for nother campus. Its for Advent. The second one will be similar to this one only larger and at a different aspect ratio. Instead of 1 to 3, it's 1 to 2.....but it's not as upsetting a change as I thought it would be.

Pikathulu
It's Pikathulu! Unfortunately, all who touch Pikathulu will be doomed to have pastel dust on them since it has snowed and I can't take it outside to apply fixative.

Aloha, Brudda!
Did this late last night, so I suppose it can count for a Saturday Sketch.
It's a portrait of champion surfer and Olympic swimmer, Duke Kahanamoku. Painted in instant coffee. Would've been more appropriate if I had used Kona coffee, I suppose, but I had to use what was lying around.
