Woverine, tight butt

This one is for the ladies! Okay, I didn't set out for this to feel like a Calvin Klein ad, it just came out that way. Enjoy Jody! Also, Tim, I used my new Blackwing pencils on this one too! Love them! -Tom

Lee Marvin, The Dirty Dozen!

Lee Marvin from a tiny tiny jpeg on my laptop. The Dirty Dozen was playing on AMC while I was getting ready to leave to go to work today. I like that movie a lot and was tempted to just hang out and watch the entire thing with focus but.....I need to get a lot done this weekend. No rest this year.

Blackwing Pencils are back!

After over 10 years of being out of production, Blackwing pencils are back! The brand was bought by Palomino and put back into production. ¡Me Gusta!

I did this drawing last night, but it was after midnight, so it counts as a Saturday Sketch.

Jules

Can't believe I forgot to post yesterday. This is part of a personal project I'm working on. When it's all done, I'll be sure to tell you about it.

A quick sketch

I can't even express how tired I am. Here is a sleepy sketch of a sleepy looking person.

Work Saturday...sigh

Well, its a sketch, right? What of? Flying mice. Its what I'm doing today, working on a children's book that has to get done soon. What are they flying in? I left out the background and other elements so no one gets mad about copyrights and such. Anyway, happy Saturday everyone!

The Crack-Up

All right. So this is what happened. We are at church watching a special program. It's a three minute set break where a bunch of big guys run up to the stage and change the sets. I'm talking to my wife and see my daughter's eyes bulge wide open. She looks at me shocked and says "Daddy, don't look!!!"

Well, that made me look and there it was—smack dab on center stage with a spot light. Many nice folks tried to signal him but he was on a focused mission to set that brick in just the right spot. While others quickly got off the stage he remained and slowly bent down to lay that stone in place.

Everything seemed to go into slow motion as the crack widened. The paster slowly closed his eyes and lowered his head as he sat next to his wife who bit her lip as she held tight to his arm.  Our oldest elder who just turned ninety-one was napping at his usual spot on the third pew from the left. He unfortunately opened his eyes at just the right moment, and, well. . . that was worth the admission in itself.

Forgive me.

KITTEN~

Someone posted a video of a Scottish Fold Kitten doing this pose. My hand is killing me today so I made a very mild effort at drawing until my hand heals. :)

Sketchbook

Sick this weekend so here's an old sketchbook page
with meandering notes jumbled around a humble pen
doodle after Nicolai Fechin's Manuel MontoƱa.
