I WILL have a sketch soon

In the meantime, here's some storyboard art ....I was working the last 2 Saturdays/Sundays and all the other days of the week and time was FLYING by.
In lieu of actually going outside and enjoy this absolutely perfect day, I'm choosing to stay indoors, to SLEEP as I've messed up a timesheet and feel just so stupid and like someone who has gone without sleep for too long. Goodnight all!

I've even started the sketch but had to put it aside for deadlines. Don't get me wrong, I"m not complaining that there's too much work, I'm just tired....plain and simple.

Happy Anniversary!

Happy anniversary to my sweetie! Twenty-two years ago, I was fortunate and blessed such a smart, funny, thoughtful, creative, pretty, nurturing, talented, true blue, frugal, tenacious, honest and caring woman agreed to marry me. She's stuck by me, truly, in sickness and health, rich or poor, for better or worse. I love you, Mary!

Ariel warm up

I did this to try out this board I had to see how it took marker color. Not very well is the answer. BUT, I did it over the weekend and it counts for a sketch, so this is all you get from me. Where's Tod? Does he still yet live? He makes me not feel bad when I don't post much. Thanks Tod! Lovies, Tom

Ringtail Lemur

My daughter is away at the Governor's School for the Arts for a few weeks (a summer college program for high school kids), so we are dropping things in the mail to her. When she was very young, she loved Ringtail Lemurs, so I thought she might enjoy this one, too.

As you can see, I scanned front and back so you can see the tail wrap around both sides.

It's mixed media: marker, acrylic & colored pencil.

Mom & Dad Dancing

My parents marked and celebrated their 53rd anniversary earlier this week. Here’s a sketch of the graceful couple, based on a photo taken when they’d made it only 44 years.
Happy Anniversary, Mom & Dad!

Oil Painting

This is my first time out with oils. Just getting a feel for them, and practicing on scraps of 4x6" cardboard. I think this might be fun! Did this sketch in about 15 minutes.

Since this is on postcard-sized cardboard, I might put a stamp on the other side and mail it to my sister who loaned me the supplies.
