March is Sketchbook Month...Day 2

I recently saw a story about a French journalist, Edith Bouvier, who had wounded in Syria, but was recently arrived in Lebanon. I was struck by the somberness in her eyes. All the other photos of her were smiling, naturally, because of her rescue/release. My sketch was taken from a photo taken in December as she was entering Syria.

March 1st!!

Whooo Hooo! Another March. Can't believe it's been a year since the last one. Man time fly's. Well here's some sketches I did today to start me off. Was Happy this was back so figured Why not sing and Dance about it. DANCE I SAY!!!

March is Sketchbook month! or "MARCH MADNESS"

Boy, anyone that knows me knows ONE thing: That I am mad about basketball. 

Oh my, yes. 

As much as I'd LoVE to be glued to a television watching every BIT of March Madness, I'm going to give that up in order to draw a sketch every day in March. It is a sacrifice, yes, but I'm willing to do that in order that I can become a better artist. I'll just have to put my love of basketball away for just a little while in order to pick up a pencil and draw!!!
