  6. I'll check that out since it sounds like a recommendation and compliment.
    Hogarth's anatomy books steered me wrong when I was a teen - took years to right the wrongs and break the bad habits. Figure drawing, Bridgeman, Loomis, etc. helped bunches.

  7. Yeah, I think in full rendered detail and when it comes to subtracting, that is the hard part for me.

  8. I think you subtract plenty with your drawings. Not many artists have as much personality, style, sensitivity and touch while simplifying areas of tone.
    Most get a scratchy, uneven, stiff, low-contrast look. Not you, General Jody. You good.
